Who we are

ADU was established in 2003 and ever since it has been growing and achieving milestones one after the other. Due to the high demand for technology, ADU has created the Department of Information Technology and Computer Science to meet the high demand. With it came highly passionate undergrads that are extremely positive about the future of Technology and therefore, the Computing Club was created to explore the world of technology and push it to multiple audiences. This club is mainly created by ADU's highly accomplished students and with the supervision of the professors of the Department Of Information Technology in ADU.

How it happened

ADU has always had various clubs and initiatives by its students in all colleges and departments. The university always encourages its students to lead and guide themselves to the top with, of course, the supervision of the highly accomplished professors at the university. We, students of the Department of Computer Science and Information Technology always wanted to have a platform, a method, or a way for us to start doing activities, webinars, and many other things related to the field that we truly love and that is Information Technology and computing. After many discussions and brainstorming, we came to the conclusion that we must create a club of some sort that we can use to embrace our passion for the field.

Our mission

We, students of ADU, are passionate about anything related to technology. And thanks to our passion and love for the field, we have created the Computing Club.

The computing club allows us to express and show our love towards tech in an engaging way that encourages others to be active and participate in

tech-related events as well as webinars AND plenty of awareness programs. In this club we will be initiating many things such as and not limited to:

3. Competitions

4. Awareness programs

The sole purpose of this club is to expand the field's value in the people's eyes and encourage everybody to engage in highly effective and educational activities.

Our vision

We have an end-goal in mind that allows us to keep moving forward and loving the field of Information technology. That end-goal, that vision is a future world that mainly relies on the power of IT in all aspects of life. A world that is fully aware of IT's pros and cons. A world filled with infinite possibilities and dreams.
